RTDNA: What will the change mean to you as a member?
Oct. 13 will be a historic day in the history of RTNDA. It it will be the last day that the association is known by that name. As I'm sure you know you by now, RTNDA is changing its name to RTDNA – the Radio Television Digital News Association.
What does this mean to you, as a member? Below are some upcoming things to look forward to when RTNDA becomes RTDNA:
RTDNA's health insurance
RTDNA will team up with Affinity Group Underwriters to offer traditional medical plans, short term medical plans, health savings accounts, dental and vision care and international travel protection for RTDNA members. Available through RTDNA.org, look for the banner ad on Oct. 13 for more information and to get a quote.
Getting into Multimedia 101
Offered through RTNDF's HSBJ project, Getting into Multimedia 101 is an online class that will offer an introduction to WordPress and all things multimedia. It's open to RTNDA members for $50, is a 10 hour course and those who complete the course will receive CEUs from Kent State University. For more information, click here.

RTDNA will offer training right at your desktop with monthly webinars. The first webinar will be Nov. 4 and will help you figure out how to navigate the world of online video in your newsroom.
