The TV Senior Promotion Producer will lead the day-to-day news promotion effort on TV and web, serve as chief liaison with the News department to choose, plot and promote special reports, produce daily news spots and other marketing as assigned, report to On-Air Promotion Manager and work closely with Creative Director on strategy and tactics. The successful candidate must be a hands on producer, writer, videographer, and editor and have strong examples of using social media for audience engagement. Experience with multiplatform producing, integrated marketing using web and mobile desired. Strong writing skills are mandatory; experience with Final Cut Pro, AfterEffects, Photoshop, and Motion software preferred. Must have the ability to lift/carry up to 35 pounds, and have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record. A college degree is preferred. A minimum of five years television promotion experience with a heavy emphasis on News and a pre-employment drug screening are required. A DVD or online demo reel is REQUIRED for consideration.
