About us
The Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas sets the benchmark for broadcast journalism, with a commitment to impactful storytelling. RTDNAC empowers both professional and student journalists to tell stories that matter. An annual workshop draws award-winning journalists, who share their experiences to train the next generation on journalism leaders. The organization’s mission is to provide opportunities for advancement, foster connections, and celebrate excellence in news coverage. Media professionals and student journalists are encouraged to submit their work for the chance to be honored at the prestigious RTDNAC awards luncheon. Students are additionally encouraged to compete for the RTDNAC scholarship – awarded to rising juniors and seniors with an emphasis in broadcast or digital journalism.
